Dallmer threefold safety: anti-flooding cellar drain DallSafe 200

Particularly in the rooms of detached and semi-detached houses that are located below the backflow level, heavy rainfall can often cause cellar drains to flood. To prevent this, the drainage specialist Dallmer has developed the anti-flooding cellar drain DallSafe 200. This is suitable for use in new builds as well as renovation projects. Thanks to the factory-fitted flexible flange, the product conforms to DIN 18534. Various versions of the anti-flooding cellar drain DallSafe are available, so that it can function as a drain in a laundry room, as well as in a level-access shower installed in a cellar. The system complies with the requirements of DIN EN 1253, whereby the provisions of DIN EN 12056 and DIN 1986-100;2008 must be taken into consideration.

Safe and secure

DallSafe impresses with its threefold safety system: ball valve, anti-flooding flap-valve and manual shut-off. In the event of backed-up water, the ball valve reliably closes the system. The anti-flooding flap-valve then also automatically closes the unit. And last but not least, the manual shut-off can also be manually actuated in the event of heavy rainfall, thus ensuring threefold safety and protection against overflowing water in the cellar. The cellar drain with plastic frame is suitable for the laundry room. Fitted with a stainless steel grating or a grating that can be tiled, the product offers a functional and highly attractive option for cellar showers.

Flexible installation

DallSafe from Dallmer has an installation height of 224 to 560 mm, which makes it particularly flexible. The grating swivels for optimum adaptation to tile pattern. The backflow unit and the trap insert can be removed without tools, so that the system is easy to clean. DallSafe is installed in cellar showers with bonded waterproofing so that it complies with the current provisions of DIN 18534. In new builds there is also the option to cast the product directly in the raw concrete surface, in which case a safety bracket ensures the necessary stability during installation. In the case of unpressurised water from outside, Dallmer also offers a sealing set for the connection of bituminous sealing against ground moisture.
