DallVent Maxi / DallVent Mini

Putting an end to unpleasant smells and noises from the drain. The DallVent air-admittance valve is the quick solution.

If you hear gurgling under the wash basin or shower and then register an unpleasant smell, it's happened again: sudden negative pressure in the wastewater pipe has sucked the water seal out of the trap allowing sewer gas to enter the room. But now there's a quick and efficient remedy for this widespread nuisance: the DallVent air-admittance valve from Dallmer. In the case of negative pressure in the drainpipe, the vent opens and the incoming air causes a rapid compensation of the pressure, thus preventing the trap insert from being sucked empty. The installation of the DallVent can therefore often dispense with the need for major construction work, such as additional ventilation valves and expensive roof penetrations.

With its new DallVent Maxi und DallVent Mini, Dallmer has developed two particularly compact and powerful air-admittance valves. They are both classified according to DIN EN 12380, Class AI. Thanks to their integrated heat insulation, the DallVent vents are frost-proof and will function in temperatures of -20° to +60° Celsius without any additional insulation. This makes them ideal for use in attics and unheated areas. They are supplied complete with a removable insect screen and a seal.

DallVent Maxi has an extremely high air volume flow of 32 l/s, so that it is capable of ensuring the necessary ventilation for several drainage objects simultaneously. The strong rubber lip seal supports connection to DN 70, DN 90 and DN 100 pipes. The vent is suitable for use with both downpipes and collective connecting pipes. Thanks to its practical flat design, the DallVent Maxi is ideal for installation in front plumbing walls.

The DallVent Mini is designed for DN 40 and DN 50 pipes and the compact housing and high air flow rate of 8 l/s opens up a multitude of options for the ventilation of connecting pipes.

DallVent air-admittance valves can noticeably improve the drainage behaviour of the sewage system and can ensure the necessary ventilation in many problem areas. They are a particularly useful complement to the main ventilation system, which always needs to come through the roof, in the case of renovation, extension or conversion projects. Whenever the installation of additional ventilation systems seems too difficult or too expensive, DallVent air-admittance valves are an extremely effective and cost-effective alternative.
