Dallmer is Architects' Darling 2014  silver in the category 'Best Product Innovation'

Once again, Dallmer has won an "Architects' Darling" award. In this year's contest, held by Heinze market research, the company was awarded silver in the category 'Best Product Innovation'. The accolade was awarded for Dallmer's unique CeraWall drainage system for level-access showers.

The selection and award ceremony for "Architects' Darling" was held this year for the fourth time. Based on a large-scale industry survey, the information provider Heinze annually determines the level of recognition and appreciation enjoyed by companies and brands in the construction industry. Prizes are awarded to the architects' and planners' favourites in 21 product areas and 6 overall marketing disciplines.

For the first time, the survey included a cross-segment award for best product innovations. Competing against more than 60 companies from a wide range of sectors, all of whom submitted their innovative products, Dallmer pitched its innovative CeraWall drainage system. Because assessment of this award was always going to involve long and intense discussions of the current market offering, Heinze appointed a small team of 15 as jury, all renowned representatives of international top-flight architect offices, including GMP Architekten, Zaha Hadid Architects, J. Mayer H. Architekten and JSWD. The award was presented by jury chairman Amandus Sattler, co-founder of the successful Munich Office, Allmann Sattler Wappner.

With CeraWall, Dallmer has developed an easy care wall drainage system of exceptional aesthetic purity and the highest technical quality. The minimalist, elegant design harmonises perfectly with tiles and natural stone and is a stylish enhancement of any personal furnishings and bathroom architecture. The first prestigious awards were Good Design and iF design award 2014. There are two different designs for the perfect dream bathroom: CeraWall S (photo) with its elegant drain channel made of stainless steel adds a touch of class. CeraWall P – by contrast – offers a design of pure minimalism that creates a virtually invisible transition between the floor and the wall. The drain body of CeraWall is cast in a polymer concrete collar with a steel mesh reinforcement and ensures maximum safety during installation and integration in the bonded waterproofing.

The "Architects' Darling 2014" award was also an impressive endorsement of Dallmer's unassailable position in the construction industry as one of Germany's most innovative manufacturers. In recognition of this fact, Dallmer was awarded a certificate naming all jury members. Managing Director Harry Bauermeister and Sales Director Aloys Koch proudly accepted the award during a festive ceremony at the industry get-together "Celler Werktag". Both see the award as further recognition of the innovative strength and high quality standards of Dallmer in Arnsberg.
